Free Cambridge Past Papers With Answers

Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Paperverse website (freecambridgepastpaperswithanswers.com) and every Paperverse mobile app, including the combined Paperverse app and the single-theme apps.

Last updated: September 2026

The short version: Paperverse has no accounts and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email address, or payment details, and we do not run servers that store anything about you. Your scores and settings live only on your own device. The apps and website are free and supported by ads, and the advertising is the only part that involves personal data, handled by Google under its own policies.

1. Who we are

Paperverse is published by Million Little Company, the team behind The Practice Book. Paperverse is a spin-off built on the same Cambridge content library. This policy applies only to Paperverse; The Practice Book app has accounts and its own privacy policy.

2. What we do not collect

Paperverse has no registration of any kind. We do not collect, ask for, or store:

  • Names, email addresses, or any contact details
  • Accounts, passwords, or authentication of any kind
  • Payment or billing information (there is nothing to buy)
  • Messages, posts, photos, or any user-created content
  • Precise location

We also do not run our own analytics and we do not sell personal information, because we hold none to sell.

3. What is processed, and by whom

3.1. Content delivery. The past papers and revision notes are fetched read-only from Google Firebase. Like any web request, this exposes your IP address and basic device information to Google’s infrastructure while the content is being served. We do not receive or keep this information.

3.2. Advertising. The mobile apps show ads through Google AdMob, and the website shows ads through Google AdSense. To serve and measure ads, Google and its certified partners may process your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, approximate (country-level) location, and device information, under Google’s privacy policy and Google’s advertising policies. The website’s ads use cookies for the same purpose.

3.3. On your device only. The app remembers small things so it works nicely, such as which world you opened last and how far you are through a paper. This lives in your device’s local storage, never leaves your device, and is never visible to us.

4. Your choices about ads

  • On Android: Settings › Google › Ads lets you reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation.
  • On the web: manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com, or control cookies in your browser settings.
  • More options and information: aboutads.info.

Our apps are configured for a teenage audience: the maximum ad content rating is set to “Teen” and requests are tagged so users under the age of consent receive non-personalised treatment.

5. Data retention

We keep nothing, because nothing reaches us:

  • On our side: we operate no servers that store personal data, so there is no personal data for us to retain or delete.
  • On your device: your progress and settings stay until you clear them. Uninstalling an app, or clearing the site’s browsing data, removes everything immediately and permanently. There is no copy anywhere else.
  • At Google: infrastructure logs and advertising data are retained by Google under its own retention policies, which we do not control.

6. Your rights

Under laws such as the GDPR and South Africa’s POPIA you have rights to access, correct, and delete personal data. Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to request; deleting the on-device data described above is entirely in your hands. For data processed by Google for advertising, you can exercise your rights directly with Google through the links in section 4. If you believe we do hold something about you, or you have any question at all, contact us and we will help.

7. Security

All content and ad requests travel over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Since Paperverse stores no personal data on any server of ours, there is no server-side collection of yours to breach.

8. Children

Paperverse is intended for users aged 13 and above, in line with The Practice Book’s policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and as described above the apps make no attempt to collect personal information from anyone. Ad requests are tagged for users under the age of consent. Users between 13 and 18 should have parental or guardian consent to use Paperverse.

9. International transfers

Content and ads are served by Google’s global infrastructure, so requests may be handled in countries other than your own. Google maintains safeguards for such transfers, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

10. Changes to this policy

If Paperverse ever changes in a way that affects privacy, for example if accounts or progress sync are added one day, we will update this policy first and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted prominently on this page.
